Full-Time Greenkeeper Wanted Option 1 Location : Rathsallagh Golf & Country Club, Dunlavin Co Wicklow. W91NW92 Rathsallagh Golf & Country Club is looking to recruit a Full-Time Greenkeeper on a permanent basis. We are seeking a passionate individual with a proven track record in golf course maintenance. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative, is ambitious, a team player, and looking to further their career with Ireland's leading golf course management company. Key Responsibilities : Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi-rough. Set up the golf course, including changing holes, moving tee markers, emptying bins, and cleaning surfaces of debris. Check machinery before use, fuel after use, and report any irregularities to the Head Greenkeeper immediately. Maintain good standards of health and safety for self and others. Repair divots on playing surfaces. Hand watering and irrigating turf. Identify and control weeds and pests. Identify and control turf diseases and disorders. Mark hazards, out-of-bounds, and ground under repair. Maintain bunkers. Renovate worn and damaged turf. Roll greens with a turf iron or similar. Drive a tractor with implements. Understand the rules of golf relating to golf course maintenance. Maintain trees and shrubs on the golf course. Communicate effectively with all team members in the venue and golfers on the course. Key Skills and Experience : Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. Effective communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative. Previous experience desirable.
