Specific Job Details :

Position Title :   HR Administrator / Recruiter

Location :   RSA House, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin 16

Terms :   Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm)

Direct Report :   Human Resources Director

Purpose of Position

The HR Administrator / Recruiter will support all aspects of the Human Resources function while contributing to the overall achievement of the business goals. Taking responsibility for data entry on Softworks HR System for the Human Resources Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive HR administration support across the group
  • Assist in the Recruitment & Selection process for all employees (participating in interviews, reference checking, issuing of contracts and all new hire paperwork)
  • Ensure all starters and leavers are entered correctly on Softworks HR System
  • Ensure all changes are entered timely on Softworks HR System
  • Co-ordinate and participate in induction for new employees
  • Facilitate probation review and annual appraisal processes with management and staff
  • Work with the payroll team to ensure all relevant changes are made
  • Employee administration including maintenance of personnel files, company pension scheme etc
  • Provide general HR support to colleagues and management
  • Conducting exit interviews and analysing findings
  • Ad hoc HR administrative and general administrative tasks as and when required
  • Actively participating in HR initiates
  • Other Duties

    As deemed appropriate by the Human Resources Director

    Organisational Relationships

    Day-to-day liaising with the Human Resources Team

    Direct liaison with staff in all business units, including management

    Position Requirements

  • Relevant third-level qualification in HR or related discipline
  • CIPD qualification is an advantage
  • 1 / 2 year's experience within a professional HR environment
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of computer literacy, including a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Capable of working independently with limited supervision
  • Working knowledge of Softworks Time and Attendance
  • Performance Review

  • Performance measures to be developed in conjunction with direct report.
