Job Description
As part of the EMEA Project Engineering team, you will be involved the design of customer projects. This will involve the control and automation of Tomra equipment, machine peripherals and bespoke project related items. Working alongside colleagues in Sales, Project Management and Service, you will be involved in project execution from concept design through to commissioning.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Project scoping and cost estimations of bespoke solutions for customer projects during the quotation stage.
- Evaluation of customer specifications / requirements and ensuring Tomra are in compliance
- The development of project specifc PLC, HMI and SCADA controls.
- The development of project specific electrical schematics.
- The development of project specific FDS’s
- Support of Sales, Service and Operations as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Masters in Electrical or Automation EngineeringProficient in PLC programming. Knowledge of the following tools : Rockwell’s Studio 5000 / RSLogix Studio FTME and FTSESiemens TIA Portal and Simatic Manager and WinCCKnowledge and understanding of motor control especially that using Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).Knowledge of electrical cabinet design and specification together with component selectionA knowledge of EPLAN would be a bonusCMSE or equivalent certification would be a bonus for the role.5+ years industry experience in a design related role. Experience in the food industry, or similar, is beneficial but not essential.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Flueant EnglishAdditional Information
