Estimator (Construction)

Co. Meath (On-site)

70,000 - €100,000 per year

Full-time | Permanent | Monday to Friday

What You'll Do

Prepare detailed cost estimates (materials, labour, subcontractors)

Review drawings / specs and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

Source and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors

Support preparation of tender submissions

Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and procurement teams

Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

Conduct risk assessments and build in contingencies

Track project costs against original estimates

Maintain accurate cost and pricing databases

What We're Looking For

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering

3+ years' estimating experience (modular / offsite is a plus)

Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and pricing

Excellent Excel and estimating software skills (e.g. CostX, Bluebeam)

Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Great communication and teamwork
