Position
We are looking for an engineering leader to drive WorkFusion Digital Worker engineering teams. The ideal candidate has meaningful experience leading teams in the development of complex, mission critical software products that incorporate process automation and machine learning. Exposure to popular public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, along with the technologies required to build and deploy software that runs on these platforms is a key requirement for the individual to be capable of driving the development of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
Provide technical direction to teams that deliver Digital Workers, which encapsulate the automation of specific business processes based on the underlying WorkFusion Intelligent Automation platformDeliver and report on the release calendar for Digital Worker productsEnsure that product development is focused on meeting and exceeding the customer requirementsAssure that department achieves objectives and project completion within budget and timeframeEmphasize quality and scalability of the engineering product while optimizing processes and improving product delivery cycles. Act as the champion for software readiness, quality and operability across the engineering organization and the companyPlan, direct, and coordinate all engineering activities within your teamsMotivate and coach staff, provide technical direction and guidance. Recognize the role as that of both manager and support resource / mentorWork directly with the VP Engineering to understand company direction, co-develop strategy, then execute on initiatives to increase velocity and improve engineering practicesBe capable of rolling up own sleeves to provide hands on contribution to complex product development tasks.Create a balance between immediate business needs and doing the right thing from a tech perspective to improve velocity over timeCollaborate with product managers, designers, customer success, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment of your team’s work with business objectivesWork closely with the Recruiting / People team to actively recruit and hire top talentQualifications / Experience
3+ years of Software Engineering leadership experience.8+ years Java programming experience2+ years Python programming experience3+ years exposure to Machine Learning technologiesUnderstanding of distributed systems and applications’ integration (SOAP, REST, etc)Basic administration knowledge of Unix / Linux and MS WindowsHands-on experience with DevOps practicesHands-on experience with Agile practicesCritical thinking to be able to work with high-level requirementsExcellent English communication skillsExperience in performance analysisExposure to Marathon and MesosExposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure
