Role & Responsibilities Manage and coordinate aspects of the haemodialysis service.
Oversee monthly bloods, analysis, and prescriptions related to anaemia and renal mineral bone disease.
Conduct transplant work-up and follow-up.
Administer and monitor the Hepatitis B vaccination programme.
Compile and report monthly and annual audit data for the AIS.
Plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs through audits.
Engage in nurse prescribing under a Collaborative Practice Agreement.
Work autonomously, managing a designated patient workload.
Clinical Focus Ensure high standards of patient care using evidence-based practices.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for haemodialysis patients.
Provide specialist advice and educational materials to patients.
Promote infection control and health awareness.
Manage defined care areas in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Initiate transplant evaluations and liaise with the medical team.
Attend renal transplant multidisciplinary meetings.
Maintain clinical and practical skills in haemodialysis.
