About the Role
This is a brand-new role where you'll be responsible for managing and growing long-standing relationships with our existing enterprise customers and their executive sponsors. Working closely with our field-based Account Teams, you will support complex sales cycles, collaborating with a range of internal teams such as pre-sales, marketing, and value management.
Your responsibilities will also include assisting with the renewals process for Workday customers, upselling to existing customers in an overlay capacity, supporting marketing activities and events , and collaborating with our strategic partners .
If successful, this role will prepare you for Field Sales or other exciting opportunities within the wider Workday Sales organisation.
Workday is looking for a Digital Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will :
Sell Workday's products, systems, and / or services to customers in your assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
Be responsible for closing sales on products, systems, and / or services.
Generate prospective customers through cold calling and qualify and follow up with sales leads.
Conduct sales through multichannel, inbound, and / or outbound sales activities .
Apply in-depth technical knowledge of products, systems, and services (which may include contract documentation).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as Workday's competitive position, and prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.
Have thorough knowledge of Workday's products, systems, and services .
Potentially direct customers to websites or other company resources for information.
Potentially act as the sole sales representative for an assigned territory, industry, accounts, and / or products.
Potentially establish and maintain relationships with channel partners .
Represent Workday to the customer and the customer to Workday in all sales-oriented activities.
R etaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
About You
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience in closing sales
Fluency in English & Spanish
Experience in consultative and collaborative selling and closing
Strong experience in pipeline management and accurate forecasting
Other Qualifications
Experience selling workforce / financial planning, HCM, or sourcing / procurement solutions is preferred
BS / BA degree or equivalent professional experience is required; MA / MS degree preferred
Motivated to reach quotas and over perform
