Job Summary Leads day-to-day field operations for all data centers in the Growing Emerging Markets North (GEMN) region.

Responsible for executing the growth and expansion agenda for the region while fostering a people-first culture where everyone feels they belong.

This role will also drive consistency and a streamlined approach to operations within EMEA.

Responsibilities Drive strategic planning and priorities for data center operations.

Establish and track KPIs, SLAs, and metrics including regional performance, capacity, availability, and budget.

Oversee incident response, problem resolution, and change management to support customer experience.

Drive a customer-centric approach and ensure consistency in operations across all data centers in the region, aligning with EMEA and global standards.

Coordinate with global design and construction teams to ensure efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Customer Care, Country MDs, EMEA President) and key customers.

Establish business continuity plans, including disaster preparedness, project management, and logistics coordination.

Implement safety measures to ensure frontline resource safety.

Empower frontline resources through incentives and processes.

Create a high-performing leadership team to drive strategic initiatives.

Promote a people-first culture, inclusivity, and collaboration to motivate teams around a shared vision.

Qualifications Proven experience in data center operations management and maintenance, with leadership and cross-functional management skills.

Experience leading a large organization through growth or transformation.

Track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a people-first culture.

Results-focused with high standards for performance, goal setting, and accountability.

Strategic thinker with strong communication and influence skills.

Ability to build followership and lead with the values of Equinix.

Able to balance short-term pressures with long-term goals.

Financial acumen and ability to connect operations to financial results.
