About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at the RIU Plaza The Gresham Hotel. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will proactively work to drive and manage the MICE business of the Hotel. ?? What Youll Do Building successful relationships with key industry partners, by finding new MICE clients and maintaining the existing ones. Manage the event lifecycle (from enquiries and RFPs, site inspections, negotiation & contracting) to execution for events, conferences and corporate accommodation groups. Work closely with the Operations team (C&G; Kitchen, Reception...) to ensure the requirements of the clients are met and delivered to the best standards to exceed guest expectations. Assist with the development, implementation and monitoring of the annual MICE targets. Attend different MICE events, trade fairs and shows in Ireland and overseas to meet potential clients and build new relationships. Help to maintain a positive and motivating workplace culture and atmosphere. ?? What Were Looking For At least 2 years of experience in a sales or meeting & events role, preferably in a hotel or agency. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal together with an outgoing personality, capable of building and maintaining relationships. Standards-driven and customer-focused, with teamwork skills. Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus). ??
