Job descriptionCollaborate with the design manager and customers so that designs are co-ordinated with architectural, structural and M&E designs Produce drawings, formulate schedules and distribute design information to the Production Work closely with production team to ensure they are provided with the relevant information for manufacturing Update and coordinate any design amendments Produce accurate estimates for customers Ability to interpret our engineer’s calculations and incorporate it into timber frame design Ensuring clear communication with customers and external architects, answering any technical queries Working with Auto Cad 3D software and Mitek software Ability to problem solve if any issues arise Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time Experience in manufacturing or in a fast-paced production environment is desirable Experience providing accurate estimates and excellent customer service The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems Microsoft office literacy Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines
