Cost Accountant

Cost Accountant Permanent Location : Dublin 15, County Dublin Type : Full-time | Permanent A+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector to recruit a Cost Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified accountant to join a global business with a strong presence in Ireland. The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and will take ownership of cost accounting and inventory analysis processes. The role involves a mix of hands-on finance work and strategic business partnering. Key Responsibilities : Perform cost accounting and analysis, including standard costing and month-end SAP Plant close processes Report on variances and prepare inventory accounting, including provisions and write-offs Support budget preparation, forecasting, and KPI reporting Partner with business units to deliver timely and accurate financial insights Maintain Asset Under Construction (AUC) and Asset Cycle Count programmes Requirements : ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA part-qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience Experience working with SAP FI in a manufacturing environment Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities under pressure Desirable : Experience working in a global pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting Benefits : Competitive salary Excellent career progression opportunities Work-life balance initiatives Bonus scheme Health insurance Pension
