Link Personnel have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and proactive eDiscovery Lead to join a busy support team within a leading professional services environment. This varied and fast-paced role will see you playing a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the department. The Role : Manage the full lifecycle of eDiscovery operationsfrom identification through to productionensuring each phase is delivered on time and within budget. Ensure all activities adhere to applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policies concerning eDiscovery and data management. Act as a key liaison between legal teams, IT departments, and third-party vendors to facilitate seamless collaboration. Support your manager in planning and executing eDiscovery projects, including setting timelines, allocating resources, and assigning tasks. Collaborate with your manager to establish and apply quality control procedures to maintain the integrity and accuracy of the document review process. Work alongside your manager to coordinate team assignments, monitor workload distribution, and manage capacity for junior team members (Legal Reviewers). Partner with legal teams to understand case-specific needs and provide expert guidance on eDiscovery best practices. Lead the document review phase, overseeing the use of review tools and managing review team performance. Demonstrate the ability to identify and escalate issues promptly, offering practical, solution-oriented responses to both internal and external stakeholders. Mentor and support junior eDiscovery specialists, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices across the team. Stay informed about advancements in eDiscovery technology, ensuring the team is well-trained and up to date with current tools and methodologies. Identify and introduce new technologies or process improvements to enhance efficiency and overall project delivery. The Candidate : Minimum of 3-5 years experience in leading the operational delivery of eDiscovery or equivalent within professional services. BA degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline is required; a legal background is beneficial but not essential. Strong communication skills. Proven interpersonal skills, with a track record of building strong relationships at all levels. Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion, even in ambiguous or shifting environments. Skilled at identifying technical challenges and recommending practical solutions. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting with limited supervision. High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information. Self-motivated and resourceful, with a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.
