Title : Senior Structural Engineer Location : North Dublin Type : Full-time, permanent, Hybrid / On-site-based Package : €80,000 DOE An experienced Senior Structural Engineer is sought to join a busy Asset Management and Design team. The role will involve overseeing structural inspections, managing refurbishment and new construction projects, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities : Lead the inspection, certification, and lifecycle planning of structural assets and temporary works. Deliver structural designs and manage related construction projects to time and budget. Maintain and develop the asset management database and inspection programmes. Oversee and manage consultants, contractors, and site activities. Support environmental compliance and liaise with relevant stakeholders. Promote and apply health and safety standards in design and project delivery. Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and development of engineering processes. Provide guidance to junior engineers and support staff development. Represent the organisation at meetings and events when required. Qualifications & Skills Required : Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 8 or above); Chartered Engineer status desirable. Minimum 5+ years' experience in structural design, asset management, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of health & safety, environmental compliance, and public procurement processes. Proficient in engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD, structural analysis tools) and asset management systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
