An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced hospitality professional to join our management team as a Banqueting Manager. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking professional with a desire to provide excellence in service and a proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate must have the necessary skills, experience & knowledge to create an experience for our guests- an experience that is memorable forever. This role requires someone who sees functions through from beginning to end and takes a hands-on approach to their work. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Overseeing and running of the daily Banqueting operations to ensure a successful experience by of all guests and to ensure standards of service are consistent and in line with client expectations and Company standards. Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all Banqueting Outlets while maintaining standards of food, beverage and service specifications Communicate information to the kitchen and other supportive departments prior to and during service. To ensure service briefings are carried out as appropriate regarding core standards (dress code, hygiene, service procedure) Planning and organizing all events in accordance with the guests requirements Being actively involved in overseeing the various outlets e.g., restaurant / bar during service periods. Providing management assistance within other operational departments of the Hotel as required Encouraging and motivating staff by acknowledging their efforts. Directing and delegating tasks and responsibilities to staff Actively assisting in the induction and training of both full and part-time staff. Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of your staff, and customers. Ensuring that work methods and practices are safe and that equipment and material are in good working order. Recording any accidents and incidents that occur in the hotel during your shift, and completing all the necessary paperwork associated with such. Be fully aware of Food Hygiene Regulations in regard to food handlers and food allergens. Adhering to Company Policy in relation to cash handling / credit card procedures. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS : Previous experience is required in a similar role in a 4 star background Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management and organizational skills Extensive experience in C&B staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and service etiquette Fluent English 3rd level Hospitality Diploma or equivalent preferable Proficient Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite Benefits : Gym Parking Meals
