Returns Manager – Dublin Airport Car Rental
Full-Time | Permanent
Teamworx are recruiting for an experienced Returns Manager to join their clients busy team at Dublin Airport . This is a permanent, full-time position requiring full flexibility across a 7-day roster. Reporting to the Airport Operations Manager, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the vehicle returns process, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience at every stage.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the vehicle return process, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company procedures.Deliver an outstanding customer experience at every interaction, handling feedback and resolving issues professionally and effectively.Lead, train, support, and develop a team of return agents, setting clear expectations and continuously coaching for performance improvement.Use metrics and KPIs to monitor team output, identify process gaps, and implement solutions to improve efficiency, cost, and customer satisfaction.Ensure vehicle checks, documentation, and damage reporting are carried out to a high standard and all reporting is accurate and transparent.Work collaboratively with valet and fleet teams to manage vehicle flow, space utilisation, and timely processing of returns.Oversee daily and weekly staff rosters for both terminal and off-site locations, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak periods.Support operational readiness across return sites and proactively manage resource planning based on forecasted return volumes.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.Perform additional tasks or project work as required by the business.Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role, ideally in car rental, transport, logistics, or a similar operational setting.Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage performance.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.Confident using Microsoft Excel and other business systems.A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong “can-do” attitude.Full, clean driving licence is essential.If you’re a motivated, customer-focused leader looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced operational role, we’d love to hear from you.
