About this role : Thisrole will be responsible for managing the Test Team on a day to day basisacross a range of regulatory, operational, on / offboarding or technologyprojects.
They will have responsibility for overall test processes, templates,tools and quality.
It will report directly to the Head of Project delivery andform part of the overall Change Department alongside the BA, PM and dev teams.
Thetest team is based in Shannon and Change & Leadership is based inDublin so willingness to travel is required. Location : Dublin Contract type : Permanent Key Responsibilities Management & development of the Test Team Defining objectives, performance reviews and day to day management of the team
Developing the team and mapping out progression paths
Cross training the team to ensure minimum levels of capability across topics
Management of defects / failures & root cause analysis
Liaising & aligning with Group on resourcing, stats, processes and tooling Ownership of test quality Understanding the business processes to ensure that the test coverage is appropriate
Governance on test strategies and closure reports
Introduction of Test Automation Tools to reduce cost of testing and build in quality as part of the long term strategy
Ownership of test methodology, documentation and tools
Oversight and trend analysis on defects / failures
Enterprise Change Planning & Delivery Ensure that the team is fully utilised and that resource assignments are clear for the PM team
Have a holistic oversight of testing execution across the Change Programme and report on status using data & stats todemonstrate quality / issues
Perform risk management and mitigation activities to ensure quality and timeliness of delivery
Track test costs of projects
Escalate issues in a timely fashion
Risk analysis during test closure and readiness assessment of transition to BAU
Analyse and contribute to pre-project planning and estimates
Completing feasibility or complexity assessments as part of pre project work
Contributing to high level planning
Reviewing and contributing to business cases and solution design proposals
Key Performance Indicators Achievement of Peppers commitments in terms of regulatory, operational and information technology initiatives
Achievement of goals as set for each project and within timeframe and budget
Improvement in quality of testing, test coverage, and cost by introducing and demonstrating benefit of test automation
High level of customer / stakeholder satisfaction measured by feedback
Clear and concise data backed weekly test reporting
EssentialSkills & Experience Candidates should be highly professional, self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
3-5 years' experience working as a Test Manager in Financial Services / Insurance
Experienced in managing and developing a team of testers
Experience in implementing test automation
Experience with improving a Test Function and embedding industry standard
Experience working with technical and business teams and senior stakeholders
Experienced in MS Office suite
Thorough understanding and knowledge of quality assurance processes, standards, methodologies, and tools
Ability to take a 'Hands On' approach where required
Strong understanding of all aspects of SDLC
Experience leading and directing teams in a fast paced, pressurised environment across multiple locations
EssentialQualifications Relevant 3rd Level Qualification
Professional Qualification in testing minimum ISTQB Certified Tester – Advanced Level : Test Management

Experience in migration / onboarding projects
Experience and knowledge of testing in a retail mortgage servicing business
