About the Job An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant. This role is ideal for someone looking to take lead on financial reporting and compliance work, and support the delivery of high-quality finance solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Take ownership of a client portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial reports Prepare and review statutory accounts, management accounts, and monthly reporting packs Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cashflow analysis Liaise directly with clients, responding to queries and offering proactive advice Collaborate with internal teams to plan and manage workflows effectively Ensure technical compliance with relevant accounting standards, particularly FRS 102 1A Assist in the delivery of advisory and project-based work where required Contribute to internal improvements and support the implementation of cloud accounting solutions Participate in onboarding new clients and identifying opportunities for value-added services Your Skills and Experience ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified Experience in a financial accounting or practice-based role Strong working knowledge of accounting platforms such as Xero A proactive and client-focused mindset Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues is desirable Up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting best practices For further information on this opportunity or if you are considering the next step in your career get in touch with Chloe Neill at HireIQ in complete confidence.
