Design Manager

Opportunity for an experienced and driven Design Manager to lead and coordinate the design development process across multiple modular construction projects. This role will require close collaboration with internal departments, external consultants, and client representatives to ensure technically robust, compliant, and efficient design delivery from concept through to construction. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead the design process across multiple projects from early-stage concept to construction-ready detail. Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and clients. Oversee coordination between architectural, structural, MEP, and manufacturing design disciplines. Ensure design output is compliant. Drive innovation in modular design, Lead ISO 19650 compliance Review and sign off design drawings, specifications, schedules, and BIM models. Manage design risks, identify clashes, and resolve technical issues early. Ensure all designs are aligned with company manufacturing, transport, and installation capabilities. Support pre-construction and estimating teams with technical input and buildability assessments. Requirements Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related construction / design discipline. 5+ years experience in design coordination or management Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, Technical Guidance Documents, and MMC methodologies.
