REPORTING TO : COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

LOCATION : DURBAN

Starlite Aviation Operations (Pty) Ltd has a requirement for an energetic Marketing Manager to help develop strategies and tactics to drive our sales and grow the business. You will track and analyse the performance of advertising campaigns, manage the marketing budget, and ensure that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.

The successful applicant must be creative, resourceful, organised and motivated to improve our marketing strategy, enhance the company's reputation and offer an innovative outlook on how to target marketing for the Group.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure our brands are easily recognisable, increase our competitive edge and improve our customers experience.
Plan, execute and implement all advertising, design and production of marketing, advertising and marketing campaigns from ideation to execution for target audience.
Write and disseminate articles, editorials, adverts, press releases and other marketing materials.
Continually develop, implement and improve systems for an effective marketing team.
Plan, organise and execute exhibitions, conferences and company events within set budget.
Manage the marketing team and budget for the department.

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French advantageous)

Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.

Strong organisation and project management skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The following is essential for this position :

Marketing Management Degree or similar, or ability to show a good understanding of marketing linked to business operations.

5 - 7 years relevant work experience in marketing or similar field (preferred).

Aviation industry experience (advantageous).

Domestic and International Travel.
