The Role.

GMC are currently looking for an experienced QAQC Manager to join our team.

The successful QAQC Manager will be supporting the delivery of projects across all aspects of the business from a quality point of view.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • To be the point of contact for all company quality related requirements.
  • Manage the material testing requirements in line with Client requirements.
  • Conduct a schedule of site visits and audits to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Develop and maintain SOP's to ensure QA is understood and followed.
  • Provide guidance and training to the GMC workforce as required to ensure our quality of work.
  • Liaise with testing houses and collate material test results.
  • Ensure quality records are collated for all projects during construction.
  • Ensure quality documentation is compiled for tender submissions e.g., development of Quality management Plans / Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • E nsure quality documentation is being adhered to on all projects.
  • Carry out internal & external ISO quality audits.
  • Compile Safety files at project completion for handover to Clients.

The Candidate : Required Experience and Competencies :

  • Knowledge of ISO9001 requirements essential.
  • Experience of Quality Management Systems essential.
  • Audit experience essential.
  • High level of literacy.
  • Analytical attention to detail.
  • Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Time management abilities to meet targets with the ability to prioritise stakeholder impact.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.
