The eBay Pro-Trader Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving success for sellers enrolled in our part-time growth programme.
Acting as a trusted expert, you will recruit, educate and guide sellers through key growth modules within our Pro-Trader Programme to grow their business on eBay.co.uk, by identifying and implementing agreed account scaling opportunities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a key partnership approach to develop a specialist understanding of sellers’ business operations and current strategy and utilise this insight to identify and support growth opportunities!
What you will accomplish :
- Lead and develop the operational and commercial relationship with allocated sellers, within the portfolio and in line with the category strategy
- Proactive growth mentor of assigned accounts to review, identify and implement agreed scaling opportunities
- Interpreting seller needs by understanding the motivations and challenges they experience, analyzing market trends, and leveraging buyer insights to build compelling value propositions that will create growth for your sellers
- Identify and source relevant and market leading inventory to support execution of strategy and ensure eBay is the most competitive site for buyers to buy products in the assigned category.
- Educate and influence sellers on adopting eBay’s suite of marketing and promotional tools, on key marketing campaigns through the calendar year, and jointly plan a marketing calendar
- Ensuring adherence to all policy, finance, and vetting process steps crucial for maintaining the integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency of an organization.
- Collaborate with category trading partners to reserve promotional space on eBay by aligning on marketing goals for seller advantage.
What you will bring :
Demonstrated experience in buying, trading or merchandising within an online retail or SMB (Small to Medium Business) environment, or to have specialised vertical knowledge or experience.At least 2 years commercial or sales experience within a fast-paced targeted environment.A proven history of exceeding performance goals by effectively managing seller relationshipsCommercially focused and have a proven track record of achieving and surpassing targets by being adept at identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Regularly exceeds performance targets through effective management of seller relationships.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to provide strategic insights.The ability to balance multiple tasks at a time while paying strict attention to detailAbility to communicate to influence credibly and optimally at all levels of an organizationThere may be a requirement to travel and attend UK Seller events.
