Senior Site Merchandising Manager– Permanent Position

Location : Dublin City Centre (Hybrid : 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Reports To : VP eCommerce

CPL Marketing are working with a well-established global eCommerce luxury retailers based in Dublin City Centre, are seeking a Senior Site Merchandising Manager who will report into the VP of eCommerce. This person will be a cross functional leader who develops and implements comprehensive eCommerce strategies for the organisations international markets. You will be a key contributor to the eCommerce roadmap and proactively identify and capitalise on new growth opportunities. This position works closely with globally distributed eCommerce Operations, UI / UX, Marketing, and Creative teams to establish and launch inspirational, educational, and conversion‐driven website strategies and content that optimise the shopper experience. This role is expected to work in a hybrid model, which includes three days in-office. This role will require occasional travel to the US.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Serve as a cross-functional leader driving ecommerce best practices to create a best-in-class shopper experience across the site.
  • Utilize data and analytics to analyse customer purchase behaviours and identify friction points, leveraging insights to customise site content and optimise the shopper journey.
  • Develop a deep understanding of cultural shopping nuances and integrate these insights into localised site strategies.
  • Evaluate the site experience from the customer’s perspective, embedding intentional strategies throughout the digital journey.
  • Present findings and strategic recommendations to the Executive Team and cross-functional stakeholders, weaving diverse data points into a compelling narrative.
  • Develop and maintain a seasonal site calendar, planning content and campaigns to meet or exceed ecommerce KPIs.
  • Identify business challenges and craft creative, actionable solutions, taking ownership to drive their successful implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Localisation teams to ensure ecommerce regulations and requirements are met, keeping international sites relevant and compliant.
  • Lead and mentor a small team focused on executing site merchandising strategies that deliver a seamless and engaging customer experience.
  • Demonstrate urgency and strong drive to continuously enhance the shopper journey and achieve international growth objectives.
  • Partner effectively with marketing, merchandising, operations, and business management teams to maintain a cohesive international brand experience and inform site strategy.

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of experience in ecommerce or retail, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to tell a compelling story through data and communicate clearly and confidently at all organisational levels.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, thriving on shaping one’s own path while consistently driving growth and innovation.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a rapid test-and-learn mindset and the ability to take calculated risks.
  • Customer-centric approach with a deep understanding and sensitivity to cultural and shopper differences.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and communicate effectively across various levels of the organisation.
  • Experience leading fast-paced, cross-functional projects successfully.
  • Strong knowledge of web-based consumer behaviour and key ecommerce performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience collaborating with creative, merchandising, and product management teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Merchandising, Economics, General Business Management, or a related field.
