Job descriptionProficient in AutoCAD (essential); experience with Inventor, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Revit is a bonus. Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a similar role within joinery, cabinet making, or interior fit-out . Excellent knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes, materials, and hardware . Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings . Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Salary : €35,000 to €50,000 DOE
At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven CAD Technician to join our client’s growing team based in Trim, Meath. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.
Your new role includes :
- Prepare manufacturing / shop drawings for approval and workshop use.
- Liaise with designers, architects, site teams, and clients to clarify specifications.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to Irish building regulations , health & safety standards, and project requirements.
- Update and maintain drawing records and technical documentation .
- Assist in site surveys and take accurate site measurements when required.
- Support production by resolving design queries and ensuring drawings are workshop-ready .
