Senior Developer in Java Contracting role Stelfox is looking for a skilled Senior Developer in Java for one of our clients based in Dublin. The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 8+ years of commercial experience working in a fast-paced environment. 6-month initial contract term, rolling / long-term contract Competitive daily rate Hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote each week Responsibilities : Enhance and maintain existing business applications. Collaborate with global technology teams to develop strategic solutions and eliminate redundancies. Support and troubleshoot issues related to Fixed Income, Currencies, and Derivatives products. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation to support business growth. Partner with front office trading desks to diagnose and resolve urgent issues. Analyse incomplete or unclear information to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Write clear documentation and articulate issues with supporting analysis. Contribute to innovation and the release of new products and features.
