Produce high quality engineering design for a broad range of projects in the water and wastewater sectorsProgramming of all work deliverablesCommunication with client dailyUndertaking site surveys in the South East region on a regular basis (2 / 3 days per week)Management of sub-consultants.Carry out work in accordance with company ISO 9001 proceduresAssist in the preparation of planning, tender and construction documentsProgramming of all work deliverablesRequirements
Requirements of the Project Manager
Experience : Minimum of 5 years in a Project Manager role within civil construction works.Education : Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Microsoft Project is beneficial.Attributes : Strong interpersonal, communication, and commercial skills.A driven, self-motivated attitude with the confidence to work independently.Team-focused, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels, including external consultants and clients.Other Requirements : A valid driver’s license.Duties of the Project Manager
Project Scheduling : Develop overall job schedules with the project team, ensuring milestones are met.Forward-plan for the procurement of resources in advance of job requirements.Production and Cost Monitoring : Ensure daily production activities align with cost expectations.Investigate and address any variances between actual and planned costs.Construction Oversight : Determine and ensure correct construction methods, materials, and quality standards.Review and validate drawing plans, construction methods, and associated procedures.Health & Safety Leadership : Lead the project team in developing and implementing a comprehensive site safety manual.Team Management : Manage the site project and labor teams to ensure efficiency and productivity.Resource Coordination : Oversee the timely delivery of materials, plant, and equipment.Quality Assurance : Develop, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and other quality assurance documentation.Financial Management : Prepare monthly project reports, detailed cost plans, and summaries.Budget and forecast costs to project completion.Manage receipting through accounting software.Contract Management : Oversee contractual obligations, ensuring compliance and effective delivery.Benefits :
