Design Manager

Oradeo Recruitment is currently seeking a Design Manager to join a leading Tier 1 main contractor based in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and management of all design activities across large-scale, high-value projects including data centres, commercial, and industrial developments. This is a key role within a well-established contractor offering a strong pipeline of work, long-term career prospects, and the opportunity to work on some of Irelands most technically complex builds. Key Responsibilities : Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to delivery Liaise with architectural, structural, and MEP consultants to ensure fully integrated design solutions Drive the production and approval of design deliverables to meet programme and budget Conduct design risk assessments and value engineering reviews Ensure all designs are compliant with current regulations and client specifications Work closely with project management, commercial, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle Lead design meetings and act as the primary point of contact for design coordination Candidate Profile : Minimum 10 years experience in design or project management within the construction industry Proven experience on complex projects such as data centres, commercial, or industrial builds Strong knowledge of building regulations, technical standards, and construction methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills Previous experience with a main contractor preferred Degree-qualified in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline Whats on Offer : Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package Permanent role with one of Irelands top main contractors Opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projects Strong career progression and professional development prospects How to Apply : To apply or find out more, please submit your CV via the link provided or email your application in confidence to .
