With a footprint in the UK and Ontario markets, they're expanding rapidly and are looking for a compliance expert to help them stay ahead of regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of responsible gaming.

As a Compliance Officer, you'll report directly to the Head of Compliance and play a pivotal role in shaping the compliance strategy. From collaborating with regulatory bodies to training staff and refining policies, your work will ensure that our client remains a leader in safe and compliant operations.

What You'll Do :

• Be the Regulatory Expert : Liaise with regulatory, legislative, and trade bodies to ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines.
• Collaborate Across Teams : Partner with internal departments and the Marketing team to ensure that advertising, product offerings, and promotions are fair, compliant, and impactful.
• Elevate Safer Gambling : Develop and enhance Safer Gambling policies, ensuring all staff are trained and customers are protected.
• Optimise Processes : Review and improve policies around KYC, AML, and EDD, keeping the organization ahead of industry standards.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve : Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to processes and controls.
• Audit & Innovate : Conduct regular compliance audits, identify risks, and support initiatives like mergers, acquisitions, and platform innovations.
• Support Data Protection : Work alongside the DPO to ensure robust compliance with data protection regulations.
• Drive Change : Represent the Compliance team in projects, incident management, and training programs to build a compliance-first culture.
