Job Title : Logistics Planner Department : Customer Delivery Location : Ireland Contract : Fixed-Term About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Domestic Logistics Planner with geographical a knowledge of Ireland to join our Customer Delivery Department. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning home deliveries, managing inter-branch stock transfers, and optimising delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service to customers. Key Responsibilities Input and update delivery orders in the planning system. Allocate delivery dates, times, and vehicles to customer orders. Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise vehicle use and meet performance targets. Prepare and distribute daily run sheets to warehouse and driving teams. Coordinate delivery confirmations and maintain communication with drivers. Quickly and professionally resolve delivery or collection issues. Collaborate with the Customer Service team to manage delivery queries. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and operational procedures. Monitor delivery operations to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency. Identify and resolve potential logistical challenges proactively. Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of logistics and delivery route planning. Domestic planning. Excellent administrative and organisational skills. Clear and effective communication (written and verbal). Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Desirable Experience Experience in logistics or delivery coordination, particularly within a retail or high-volume environment. Familiarity with dynamic, fast-paced work settings. Flexibility is essential - shifts may include evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Attendance at an induction session may be required. Other related duties may be assigned in line with the role.
