Sustainability Officer Location : Dublin North Salary : €37k Hours : Monday to Friday - Hybrid working Sector : Food Services / Hospitality Were working with a prominent and forward-thinking food services company that is seeking a passionate Sustainability Officerto lead its environmental and sustainability strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sustainability professional to influence business-wide initiatives, drive carbon reduction efforts, and ensure compliance with upcoming CSRD legislation all while collaborating with internal teams and high-profile clients. Key Responsibilities : Lead and evolve the companys sustainability strategy Manage carbon footprint reporting (GHG emissions, SBTi targets) Prepare for CSRD compliance via data collection and analysis sustainability Engage stakeholders across departments and clients Champion food waste reduction sustainability initiatives Chair the internal sustainability committee (including senior execs) Coordinate external sustainability certifications and audits Oversee key projects with industry partners (e.g., Origin Green) The Ideal Sustainability Officer : 3rd level qualification in sustainability, environmental science, or related field Proven experience in GHG reporting (Scopes 13) and sustainability frameworks Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills Hands-on experience working with corporate sustainability data and policies Familiarity with Science Based Targets and upcoming ESG legislation BURAMB22 Skills : environmental environmental specialist sustainability sustainability engineer ESG food sustainability Benefits : See Description
