Main ObjectiveDesign, build, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable CODEMaintain code quality and keep tests GreenResponsibilitiesProgrammingWrite secure and scalable Ruby on Rails (RoR) code following best practices.Work with the Tech Lead to develop the overall application architecture.Conduct code reviews and collaborate with the team on best engineering standards.Lead projects to completion.Solve customer service support bugs.ProductionMonitor and support production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.Resolve production incidents.Security Assessments and Incident ResponseImplement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.Respond to security incidents, investigating and mitigating threats.What you need to succeedSharp, hard-working, and organized.Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.Strong analytical skills and technical problem-solving.Showcase verbal and written communication skills (English).Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.A team player who understands and enjoys a great company culture.Desired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience in programming.4+ years of experience in a Backend Developer or similar role.Experience working with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB,and React.js.Experience with unit testing, automated testing (Rspec, Cucumber).Experience with integrations / API (RESTful).Strong understanding of Linux / Unix server environments (Scripting, Service config, Bash).Experience with AWS Cloud and infrastructure.Experience building and running high-performance applications.Experience with security tools and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Selection ProcessApplication ShortlistingInitial Screening callInterview with a Senior EngineerTechnical AssignmentInterview with the Chief Technology OfficerDecisionOnePageCRM is an equal-opportunity employer.
