Our client is a tier one construction company with operations across Ireland, the UK, and Northern Europe. They specialise in delivering projects within Critical Environments, including Data Centres, Life Sciences, Aviation, High-Value Manufacturing, and Critical Logistics. They are seeking a highly motivated Commercial Business Partner (Accountant) to join their team. This role works closely with the Commercial and Finance teams to provide project performance analysis, financial reporting, subcontractor management, and data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across the Group. Key Responsibilities Support project performance reviews, financial analysis, and reporting to drive business decisions Oversee Cost Value Reports (CVRs), project forecasts, WIP reporting, and audits Manage subcontractor onboarding, payments, compliance, and ledger accuracy Develop and maintain data dashboards, delivering insights using Power BI Conduct market, project, and tender analysis to support commercial strategy Assist with ESG reporting, tenders, insurance renewals, and CSO returns Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA) preferred Minimum of 3 years experience in a commercial finance role, ideally within the construction sector Strong financial and commercial analysis skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and within a team Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other data analytics tools is desirable Salary & Benefits Competitive salary package, €70,000 - €80,000 Pension Contribution Annual performance bonus Opportunity to work on high-profile projects within critical industries Exposure to Group-wide commercial and financial operations Career development and continuous learning opportunities Collaborative, high-performing team environment Professional development programme in place to promote career development.
