12 month contract- D24 / hybrid

Reporting to the Finance Manager.

My client a state body has an immediate requirement for a Financial Accountant / Finance Officer.

Key tasks will include :

• Month end management accounts preparation using Exchequer Software - month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations
• Monthly Income reconciliation between claims system and finance system
• Monitoring portal transactions
• Refund fee processing
• Month end debtor reports
• Preparation of VAT and PSWT Returns
• Preparation of pension deduction returns for parent Department
• Monthly cash flow statements
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Assistance with Annual budget preparation
