Business Analyst (Senior)
Location : Dublin – Hybrid working Model
Duration : 6+ months contract – Highly extendable
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analysts will :
- Liaise with staff and Unit Heads to identify new business and functional requirements.
- Clarify / identify business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and other appropriate techniques
- Document new functional requirements and the particular business needs underlying those requirements
- Provide input to the Project Manager and Technical Manager to facilitate the drafting and finalisation of requirements and specifications associated with the supply and implementation of the required Digital platform
- Throughout the life of the project, review and validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
- Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality and behaviour to support the activities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a testing strategy.
- Create user cases detailing the business requirements & the impacted application
- Complete handover of agreed project deliverable items (to include Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and User Acceptance Plans etc.) to a Project Manager
- Other relevant responsibilities associated with this project, as identified by the project team.
- Work with staff to understand current ‘as is’ processes insofar as they relate to the digital platform
- Document ‘as is’ process flows and associated business rules
- Analyse system template forms (portal and back office) to identify and map all data fields
- Has acted as the senior responsible person on major client engagements.
- Experience in leading complex projects / programmes.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking to get to the root of an issue.
- A capacity to accurately assess and understand the impact of change.
- Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a penchant for asking important and relevant questions.
- Good Interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders
Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish / British / EU passport.
