Overview

Business Analyst (Senior)

Location : Dublin – Hybrid working Model

Duration : 6+ months contract – Highly extendable

Key Responsibilities

The Business Analysts will :

  • Liaise with staff and Unit Heads to identify new business and functional requirements.
  • Clarify / identify business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and other appropriate techniques
  • Document new functional requirements and the particular business needs underlying those requirements
  • Provide input to the Project Manager and Technical Manager to facilitate the drafting and finalisation of requirements and specifications associated with the supply and implementation of the required Digital platform
  • Throughout the life of the project, review and validate proposed solutions to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices and system functionality and behaviour to support the activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of a testing strategy.
  • Create user cases detailing the business requirements & the impacted application
  • Complete handover of agreed project deliverable items (to include Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, and User Acceptance Plans etc.) to a Project Manager
  • Other relevant responsibilities associated with this project, as identified by the project team.
  • Work with staff to understand current ‘as is’ processes insofar as they relate to the digital platform
  • Document ‘as is’ process flows and associated business rules
  • Analyse system template forms (portal and back office) to identify and map all data fields
  • Has acted as the senior responsible person on major client engagements.
  • Experience in leading complex projects / programmes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking to get to the root of an issue.
  • A capacity to accurately assess and understand the impact of change.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a penchant for asking important and relevant questions.
  • Good Interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders

Candidates should hold appropriate RTWs for Ireland i.e. Stamp1G, Stamp 4, Irish / British / EU passport.
