Gourmet Food Parlour have an exciting new vacancy in their Catering Kitchen in Santry. Our Deli Assistant will work on many different stations as assigned by Head Chef and Sous Chef and is responsible for ensuring that
standards are maintained for his / her section. This is a great starting point for someone looking for a career in the catering sector. We're looking for someone who's excited to come in to work every day and ready to develop the team, grow with the brand & tackle challenges.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Assist in the preparation and service of all food items according to GFP recipes and standards
Ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and as per the catering quote
Ensure good stock and waste control is practised
Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
Execute deli preparation to the expected high standard quickly and efficiently
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section
Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering required standard of food
Maintain a positive and proactive attitude at all times and seek to improve and advance your skill set and performance
Comply with all Health and Safety regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef and management
