Lead .NET Engineer / Head of Engineering - Path to CTO Location : Hybrid - Co. Clare, Ireland Salary : €80,000 - €100,000 DOE Type : Full-Time | Permanent | 3 Days Onsite An established Irish SaaS company is seeking a senior-level .NET developer to take on a leadership role in its core engineering team.

This position offers a direct succession path to CTO, as the current technical founder plans to step away from hands-on responsibilities.

The company has developed a successful eCommerce SaaS platform used by well-known Irish retailers.

The product is scalable, multi-tenant, and serves high volumes of traffic.

With growth on the horizon and AI-led product innovation in the pipeline, the business is looking for a strong technical leader to drive this next phase.

Responsibilities : Take full ownership of the product's technical direction and architecture Lead and mentor a small, expert development team Drive code quality, performance, and maintainability across the platform Work closely with product and business stakeholders to align tech strategy with growth plans Oversee deployment, scalability, and integration efforts with ERP / ePOS systems Contribute directly to ongoing feature development in a hands-on capacity Guide the technical transition into AI-enhanced product features Requirements : Minimum 5 years' experience with C#.NET and MS SQL Server in web-based applications Strong understanding of scalable software architecture and system design Experience working in a senior, lead, or managerial developer role Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms Ability to work onsite in Co.
