Job Description
A bartender-server in a hotel restaurant is responsible for both preparing and serving drinks, as well as taking food and drink orders from guests and delivering them to the tables.
They also ensure the bar and dining areas are clean and organized, and handle customer payments.
Requirements
Bartending Duties : Drink Preparation :
Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customer orders.
Bar Maintenance :
Keeping the bar area clean, stocked, and organized.
Inventory Management :
Monitoring and restocking bar supplies as needed.
Customer Service :
Providing friendly and efficient service to guests at the bar.
Cash Handling :
Processing payments for drinks and potentially handling room charges.
Serving Duties : Order Taking :
Accurately taking food and drink orders from guests at their tables.
Food and Beverage Service :
Delivering orders to the tables and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Table Maintenance :
Setting tables, clearing away finished plates and glasses, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
Guest Assistance :
Addressing guest requests and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Teamwork :
Collaborating with other staff members, including kitchen staff and other servers.
