Key Responsibilities

Design and Technical Contributions

Perform structural design for building projects, including steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Prepare and review preliminary designs, reports, and specifications for various projects.

Utilize design software to create accurate and detailed drawings.

Project Team Collaboration

Collaborate with project teams to deliver projects on time and to high standards.

Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring alignment on schedules, document reviews, and approvals.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals.

Compliance and Standards

Ensure all designs adhere to the latest codes of practice, building regulations , and procedural standards.

Follow company ISO policies and quality management procedures.

Key Requirements

Educational Background

Minimum Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience

3-8 years of relevant design experience, particularly in building projects.

Technical Knowledge

Proficiency in MS Windows and structural design / analysis software.

Strong understanding of Irish codes of practice, building regulations , and engineering procedures.

Skills

Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills in English.

Teamwork : Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced, team-driven environments.
