We are currently seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to join a growing, dynamic supply chain team within an innovative life sciences manufacturing company based in Castlebar, Co. Mayo . What You’ll Do

  • Manage the purchasing of key materials from internal and external suppliers.
  • Ensure timely placement of purchase orders aligned with lead-times and service level agreements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, warehousing, operations, and customer service teams.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and contribute to supplier performance monitoring.
  • Support quality and onboarding processes for new materials and suppliers.
  • Contribute to audit preparations and documentation upkeep.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles within manufacturing or a related industry.
  • A third-level qualification in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Dynamics ) is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
