Associate Director @ DesignBuild Search | Leadership, Recruitment, Design Build Seach are working with a global leader in the telecommunications sector who continue to grow.
Due to expansion in Ireland they have an opportunity for Site Manager.
The successful applicant is responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of a portfolio of towers and rooftop sites.
This includes the integration, upkeep, and management of both new and existing infrastructure, as well as tenant installations.
Key Responsibilities Project & Site Management Manage daily project plans across multiple sites, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Conduct site walks with tenants (e.g., preliminary design, final inspection).
Oversee project closeouts, including documentation, inspections, and financial reconciliation.
Ensure all construction documentation (permits, as-builts, etc.)
is properly filed and maintained.
Tenant & Leasing Coordination Collaborate with the Regional Leasing Manager and tenants during leasing, design, and installation phases.
Review and approve tenant co-location applications and installation configurations.
Communicate construction notice-to-proceed requirements to tenants and contractors.
Maintenance & Compliance Perform routine and demand-based site maintenance (e.g., falling tree removal, grounds upkeep, access roads).
Ensure all sites comply with safety, environmental, and zoning regulations.
Maintain proper site signage and facilitate inspections as required.
Manage operational and capital budgets for site repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
Prepare and process requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
Monitor and report key performance metrics using internal tracking tools.
Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day communications with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
Build and maintain strong client relationships by anticipating needs and resolving issues proactively.
Participate in weekly calls and attend company meetings as required.
Additional Responsibilities Support M&A activities by auditing potential acquisition assets.
Assist Lease Administration with due diligence and site-related inquiries.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date site information in the company's central database.
Meet annual site visit quotas for the assigned territory.
Qualifications & Skills Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site operations, maintenance, or project management within the telecom or infrastructure industry.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with tower and rooftop infrastructure, including co-location and tenant installations.
Technical Skills Strong understanding of construction processes, site design, and telecom infrastructure.
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with asset management systems and document control platforms.
Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and zoning regulations.
Soft Skills Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Other Requirements Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Ability to conduct physical site inspections, including climbing ladders and navigating uneven terrain.
Flexibility to respond to urgent site issues outside of standard working hours when necessary.
