Role Purpose

This is an exciting time to join a creative and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising paid digital marketing campaigns and initiatives across various platforms, to increase Cornmarket’s online brand visibility and drive inward demand; including paid search, SEO social and display.

This is a key role in the delivery of the marketing strategy to support the company’s growth ambition. The Paid Media Specialist  will report to the Acquisition Marketing Manager, working closely with them to develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for Cornmarket.

The role has a broad scope that includes but is not limited to : delivery of effective PPC campaigns, social media campaign set up for our varied product lines, production of analytics, post campaign analysis and actionable insights.

Accountabilities of the Role

Campaign & Strategy Management

Responsible for the effective delivery of the annual digital marketing calendar to deliver inward demand for multiple products via PPC, SEO, Display Advertising, Paid and Organic Social

Manage the overall digital budget for Search, PPC and Social. Allocate spend based on performance and return

With our agency partner, manage SEO, evolving content and functionality on the website to ensure it is optimised for performance

Industry Trends

Stay abreast of changes in the digital landscape and regulation. Ensure Cornmarket’s marketing team are informed and engaged with a plan to navigate these changes

Conduct regular competitor analysis , and benchmark performance and KPI’s per digital channel

Ad Creation and Testing

Create ad copy in collaboration with the marketing team and fine tune regularly

Develop Cornmarket’s reach through social media channels, ensuring creative content is executed to an excellent standard to maximise customer engagement

Set up and actively nurture social campaigns to drive reach and conversion across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok

Continue to build traffic to Cornmarket.ie and improve conversion rates through e-commerce journeys with relevant business areas

Create digital assets in collaboration with the marketing team for both brand and product campaigns, ensuring they are innovative, responsive and in line with industry standards

Act as the main provider of digital analytics for the company, provision and interpretation of relevant online / digital activity and performance data and analytics

Act as an advocate of online, digital and social within the company

Reporting

Provide regular reports with actionable insights on website traffic, digital campaigns, social and content for all products, and identify areas for improvement and conversion

Ensure the team are effectively set up to track engagement from marketing and digital activity

Agency Management

Manage the relationship with our external agency providing insights, feedback and regular interaction, to ensure the effectiveness of our campaigns

Skills, Experience and Behavioural Competencies Required

Ideally the successful candidate will have 5+ years in an online marketing environment, agency or client side

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing or Digital Marketing required

Specialism in Technology or Digital desirable

Highly competent in analysing data and deriving relevant insights

Effective at interacting with technical teams

Experience of SEO, PPC, SEM, funnel creation and webmaster tools, content square and salesforce social integration a plus

Experience running and managing digital campaigns and using latest social ad formats

Proven success delivering an online content strategy

Strong track record in building effective partnerships with third party agencies

Analytical mindset – able to provide insight from statistics and spot opportunities

Highly organised – able to work to tight deadlines with multiple projects

Customer orientated – able to understand and identify needs of different customer groups and segments

Proven track record of building strong interpersonal relationships with colleagues across different departments

Proven track record of managing budgets and third-party suppliers

Strong project management ability

Passion for innovation and driving productive change

Motivated, flexible and positive attitude

Ability to stay calm under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously to tight deadlines
