This role supports a high-performing site team, working on complex, time-sensitive facilities, where effective communication, strong organisation, and reliable follow-through are essential to ensuring project success. About the Role : The MEP Project Coordinator will be site-based, working closely with the mechanical and electrical engineering leads to provide administrative, coordination, and documentation support across all stages of project delivery. This role is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal and organisational skills, who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex technical workflows. Acting as a key liaison between the engineering team, main contractor, and client representatives, the MEP Project Coordinator will ensure that project workflows remain aligned and on schedule throughout multiple phases of delivery. Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and track RFIs, technical submittals, and action items across active projects.
  • Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with internal teams, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Update MEP issue logs, flagging high-priority items and overdue responses.
  • Support document formatting, submissions, and compliance tracking via project systems.
  • Assist in handover preparation, including deliverables coordination and documentation.
  • Monitor project risks, delays, or bottlenecks, and escalate where needed.
  • Onboard new team members with access setup and process briefings.
  • Standardise internal reporting by helping engineers update trackers and time logs. Requirements :
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a project coordination, engineering administration, or site support role (preferably within the MEP or construction sector).
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with strong follow-up habits.
  • Proficient in tools like Procore, SharePoint, or Aconex.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with a structured working style.
  • Comfortable chasing updates from team members in a clear, respectful manner.
