Senior Accountant

Barden are delighted to have been exclusively engaged by a growing SME owned by a successful entrepreneur.

Due to recent growth they are now inviting a highly skilled accounting professional to join their finance team as anSenior Financial Accountant.

This is a broad accounting position and the ideal next step for a financial accountant looking to progress.

The opportunity will allow exposure to the full accounting process for the company, as well as getting involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE : Preparation of financial statements;Preparation of monthly management accounts;Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting process;Monitor and strengthen the control environment;Manage cash flow;Oversee and review operational finance;Ensure tax compliance;Prepare scenario analysis to support business decisions;Assist with the external audit process;Identify opportunities from improvements and efficiencies in current process.Ad-hoc projects as they arise.ABOUT THE PERSON : Qualified accounting professional or qualified by experience;Minimum 3 years experience within an SME environment;Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;Self-starter and ability to prioritise deadlines;Strong technical ability and good attention to detail;Office based in Dublin South, with hybrid working in place.
