Senior Quantity Surveyor – Gorey, Co. Wexford

An established specialist contractor with operations across the UK and Ireland is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Wexford. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a long-term career path within a dynamic and engineering-led business.

Role Overview

You’ll oversee commercial and contractual activities across multiple construction packages, supporting financial delivery from pre-contract to final account. Working closely with the site and project teams, you’ll ensure cost control, risk management, and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting

Administer contracts and manage subcontractor packages

Lead on valuations, variations, and final accounts

Support procurement and supplier negotiations

Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress and measurements

Guide and support junior team members

What We’re Looking For :

5+ years’ experience in a QS role within construction

Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

Knowledge of standard forms of contract (RIAI, JCT, NEC, etc.)

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills

Confident communicator and team player
