Children Service Instructor- Vocational Development- Screen Printing - Full Time Permanent

Saint John of God Community Services, Dublin South East, provides Day and Residential Services for people with learning disabilities in the Dublin South East Region.

St. Augustine's School, part of Dublin South East, provides co-educational facilities for students with mild / moderate intellectual disability, in the age range of 6 - 18 years. The basic philosophy of the school aims to promote the growth of each individual to the best of their potential at all levels, educational, social, emotional, psychological and spiritual.

TITLE :                                      Instructor / Screen printing Vocational Development

LOCATION :                            St. John of God Dublin South East, or at any other location associated with the service.

RESPONSIBLE TO :               The Director of Services

REPORTING TO :                   Programme Manager, Coordinator or Supervisor of relevant department.

SUPERANNUATION :  `          All staff members will be required to join in the relevant pension scheme.

WORKING WEEK :                 Hours of attendance will be determined by the Director or designated nominee. From time to time, you may be required to work outside of normal hours.

• The role involves developing and delivering a screen-printing programme as a Vocational Area, with a view to targeting a number of key transferrable skills that continue to prepare students, and their families, for embracing and responding to, opportunities and challenges, post-graduation.
• Applicants should have experience working with various methods of printing including but not limited to screen printing, block printing, fabric printing and etching and should bring enthusiasm and practical skills to the role.
• Applicants must have a minimum of a QQI Level 6 in a relevant field and a full manual Irish driving license
