Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to lead the design, development, and delivery of a comprehensive training programme for the implementation of a new SaaS solution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring all users—from end users to technical staff—are equipped with the knowledge and skills to adopt and operate the new system effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across diverse user groups.
  • Design and implement a scalable, role-based training strategy aligned with the organisation’s change management and implementation goals.
  • Deliver a “Train the Trainer” programme for functional, technical, and support users.
  • Develop and maintain training materials including manuals, video tutorials, and e-learning content.
  • Coordinate and deliver instructor-led training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
  • Integrate training documentation into the SaaS platform and ensure accessibility for all user groups.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and post-go-live metrics.
  • Collaborate with project teams to align training delivery with key implementation milestones (e.g., UAT, go-live).
  • Provide regular updates to project governance structures and contribute to continuous improvement of training delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing training programmes for large-scale IT or SaaS implementations.
  • Strong background in TNA, curriculum development, and blended learning methodologies.
  • Experience with “Train the Trainer” models and scalable training delivery.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in using digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Articulate, Camtasia).
  • Ability to manage multiple training streams and adapt to evolving project needs.
  • Desirable Qualifications

  • Degree in Education, HR, IT, or related field.
  • Certification in Learning & Development (e.g., CIPD, CPLP).
  • Experience in public sector or education-related projects is a plus.
