Your Challenge

SWARCO Ireland Ltd are a leading supplier of smart, active signage solutions and the latest parking equipment in use across the UK and Europe. We require an organised, self-motivated team player to join us as a Sales Admin / Estimator at our offices in Dublin, in this role, you will help prepare costed technical responses to customer’s sales enquiries.

Your Challenge

  • Review tender documents, specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and client requirements.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for a range of products and services including traffic signals, signage and ITS solutions.
  • Liaise with internal departments to gather information to validate costs.
  • Issue commercial proposals and quotations to clients in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist the sales team in bid preparation including compiling support documentation, programmes and technical submissions.
  • Track and manage tender submissions and bid deadlines.
  • Maintain pricing databases, supplier cost records and historical bid information for analysis and reporting.
  • Support post tender negotiations and handovers to the project delivery team.
  • Attend any pre and post tender meetings as required.

  • Your Profile

  • Previous Administration skills - preferably within a Sales team
  • Cost estimation and quotation experience
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Must be self-motivated whilst working as part of a team
  • Technical Engineering understanding - desirable
  • Day to day use of Microsoft word, excel and outlook essential
  • Good verbal and written skills essential
  • Good organisational skills essential
  • Right to work in Ireland
  • Qualification in quantity surveying, engineering or construction management would be desirable but not essential.
