The Daughters of Charity Community Services (DoCCS), located at 9 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1, provides a range of educational, training and social care services for adults, youth and children in the North Inner City. We are recruiting for : Early Years Educators Full Time (33 hours) & Part Time (25 Hours) Grad Lead Roles for Specific Purpose Maternity Covers Required Skills and Competencies : Essential A relevant third level qualification in the field of Early Childhood Care & Education (a minimum QQI Level 7 or relevant equivalent is required) A passion for working with young children and their families Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Ability to work as part of a team Strong organisational skills, with an ability to manage multiple work tasks and a busy environment Advantage Minimum of 3 years experience working in an Early Years setting with finish time set at 2pm Monday to Thursday and 1pm on Friday Finish times are inclusive of 1 hour daily non - contact Excellent opportunity for those interested in working within a community setting Experience of working in a community-based Early Years Service would be a distinct advantage Experience and training in Solta & Aistear Contract : This a temporary contract, with the possibility of other job opportunities within the organisation. The service is closed for Christmas, Easter and 1 month in August with paid leave for the successful candidate Benefits of Working with Us Experience of working with children with additional needs. Knowledge and training in Solta & Aistear. Unique opportunity to gain experience that only working in a Community Services provides. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Further development and training within the industry specifically relating to the cohort we offer our services to.
