Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Reperio is working with a leading financial services firm to recruit a Senior Java / Angular Developer for a 12-month daily rate contract. The role is hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Dublin City Centre p / w.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and enhance enterprise applications using Java and Angular
  • Build and maintain REST APIs to support CRM integration
  • Participate in solution design and architecture discussions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BAs, architects, testers) across locations
  • Deliver work as part of an Agile team, contributing to sprint planning and reviews
  • Ensure solutions follow best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
  • Provide 3rd level support and handle issue resolution when required
  • Contribute to peer code reviews and mentor junior team members as needed

Requirements :

  • 10+ years of experience in a development role
  • 3+ years on front end with Angular
  • Java 17+, Spring Boot
  • Angular v14+, TypeScript, JavaScript, SCSS
  • REST API development and integration
  • Strong understanding of OOP and design patterns
  • SQL and relational DB experience ( Oracle preferred)
  • CI / CD tools : Git, Maven, Jenkins
  • Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Advantageous : Microsoft Dynamics API exposure, reactive programming
  • Applicants must be eligible to work full-time in Ireland without restriction.
