Role : Vision Ireland are recruiting for an operations assistant's and an administration assistant's to support Vision Ireland in the summer months..

Contract : FTC Contract

Hours : 25 -30 per week

Salary : Minimum wage hourly rate

Location : Vision Ireland Head Office, Whitworth Road, Drumcondra Co. Dublin

Role Overview

Vision Ireland are looking for enthusiastic and organised Operations and Administration Assistants to help with the day-to-day running of Vision Ireland's Head Office, during our busy summer period. These roles are a great opportunity to gain practical experience across different parts of the organisation and build valuable skills in a supportive environment.

Operations Assistant Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support with general operational tasks and assist different teams at Head Office.
  • Help check that the building stays clean, safe, and comfortable, including monitoring lighting, heating, and overall tidiness.
  • Report any issues that need fixing, like small repairs or maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with setting up meeting rooms and spaces for events or activities.
  • Be a friendly point of contact for staff who have questions about the building or facilities.
  • Lend a hand with light building projects, such as painting or helping to keep the grounds looking their best.

Key Responsibilities General Administration

  • Support the team with everyday administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and keeping documents organised.
  • Help with data entry, updating spreadsheets, and making sure records are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in putting together materials and information for meetings.
  • Respond to day-to-day questions and pass on requests to the right people when needed.
  • Help keep the office tidy, organised, and running smoothly.
  • Lend a hand with sorting post and deliveries, making sure supplies get to the right teams.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Good organisational skills and the ability to plan and manage tasks in a sensible order.
  • Able to manage time well and handle different tasks and responsibilities during the day.
  • Careful and thorough, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Professional and trustworthy, with a positive and respectful approach.
