REGIONAL MANAGER | DUBLIN 15 / HYBRID | PERMANENT |
At Staffline Recruitment, we are working on behalf of a prominent Public Sector body who are seeking to recruit a Regional Manager on a permanent basis.
THE ROLE|
The role of the Regional Manager will be to provide strategic leadership of the Eastern Region Metro waterway. You will have oversight responsibility for the management, maintenance, development and administration of the region and will also be responsible for line management for Professional, Technical, Administrative and Operational teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES|
Lead the development and management of the following areas : Inland navigations', along with its properties and other infrastructure assets in the Eastern Metro.The organisations People Strategy aimed at enhancing performance by motivating the team and fostering a culture of learning and talent development.Best practices in Health and Safety Governance, ensuring that effective systems and processes are established and followed.The performance of local contractors, contributing to the objectives of service and operations.Responsible for strategic leadership of : The financial affairs, which includes developing and recommending strategies for budget and financial planning, as well as monitoring the budget for allocated financial and capital resources.Organisational and corporate business planning for the region, ensuring alignment with the entire operational functions of the organisations.Developing funding opportunities for capital projects aimed at enhancing recreational use of the inland navigations'.Collaboration will take place with : The Operations Controller and Marketing and Development teams.External stakeholders, including local authorities, government departments, and public representatives, to promote and develop recreational strategies for the waterways in the region.PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE|

A Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering (Level 8) OR a relevant Business or Public Management Degree (Level 8)A minimum of 5 years Senior Management Experience in a similar sector or industry such as Infrastructure, Water Resources, Construction or Engineering EnvironmentFull Driving Licence with access to transport in order to travel based on business needsESSENTIAL CRITERIA |
A thorough understanding of the challenges involved in managing complex operations, along with significant financial and human resources, in a multi-disciplinary work environment.Demonstrated success in managing and implementing large-scale projects.Proven ability to identify, develop, and cultivate mutually beneficial strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders.Successful track record in leading and developing teams to achieve desired results.Established expertise in implementing and managing statutory and organisational health and safety requirements related to construction and maintenance work.APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS |
